Why I started Kawaii Tomodachi
Before this shop, I didn't have pets. I worked, went home, and played PC games when I was stressed.
Then my boss asked me to look after their hamsters for a while: six Winter White dwarfs. Day by day, there were fewer of them, until only one was left.
I worried it would be lonely, so I found it a partner. But I had never kept a hamster before, and the person who sold me the hamster didn't share any advice.
So I learned everything on my own, from YouTube, Reddit and pet forums.
That's why I started this shop. Every buyer gets the basics from us and a care guide, so no one has to go through what I did.

Our story
Kawaii Tomodachi means "cute friend". We started selling bettas and hamsters on Facebook in October 2023, and registered the shop with DTI and BIR in January 2024.
Every betta has its own tank code and a real photo, so you see the exact fish you get. We pack live pets ourselves. Deliveries go out Monday to Saturday, 3 PM to 9 PM, and pet transport runs around the clock.
We also make our own hamster food, Little Pets Daily Quality, and ship it nationwide.
