The Apple Snail (Pomacea bridgesii), also called mystery snail, is a peaceful freshwater snail that helps clean up leftover food and algae in your aquarium.

With a betta: usually fine. Most bettas leave it alone, but some nip at its feelers. If your betta keeps biting, move the snail to its own tank. Keep a lid on, because mystery snails can climb out.
