How to handle your hamster
  1. Wait 3 to 5 days before handling after bringing them home.
  2. Let them sniff your hand first.
  3. Handle in the evening, when they are naturally active.
  4. Keep sessions to 10 to 15 minutes at first, and always sit low. A drop can be fatal.
  • Never wake a sleeping hamster. They can bite.
  • Syrian hamsters must live alone.
